Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bakersfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My kids and I love this place. The manger, Chase, is so nice and helpful, &&best part it's very affordable to play. You can even have a birthday party there. We'll definitely be going back to play soon.

The tournaments hosted at this venue were very mid to low quality. My friend group and I were told to arrive by 4pm but when we did the tourney didn't start until 6-7pm. During the tourney it was a hassle to find a restroom because you had to ask staff to use the localhost restroom. There were usually people doing that constantly and there was only 1 restroom. The tourney setups were a little bit laggy due to the 3ms delay monitors and gamecube adapters they used. The tourneys that I've attended usually last extremely late. The latest my friend group and I have stayed there was until around 11:30pm which is way too late for a 20-30 person tournament. Lastly my friends that got top 3 had to wait a few days, up to a week, to receive their winning money. The standard at FGC tournaments is to give the winners their money up front before they leave. My friend group and I won't be returning to these tourneys for a while, if ever again.

My kids has so much fun. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Create your Epic Games account or whatever site you use before you go. One for each kid if playing anything more than Roblox/Among Us. Then just sign in and play. We had 7 kids split the 12 hour package. They each had almost 2 hrs to play and it was all for $39. The staff didn’t struggle at all with answering questions and jumped right in to help the kids when parents were busy with another child. We can’t wait to go back again.

Their computers are amazing and the staff is incredibly nice and are always ready to assist anyone who needs help. The AC works very well at keeping the building cool, especially important in this hot weather. The prices for hours are fair. I am glad Bakersfield has something as awesome as this. However, when it comes to the tournaments, they are ran poorly. 1. The third party Gamecube adapters are terrible because they are notorious for breaking Gamecube controllers and they add more lag. 2. The issue with the bathroom is that there is only one and people must ask to be escorted to the bathroom before it. 3. Payouts are another huge issue LocalHost struggles with paying on time. Payouts for the top 3 players are to be given at the end of the tournament on the same day, that is the standard, not weeks later like they are currently doing. 4. The TOs calling out the matches are inefficient. I hear complaints from my friends that they had waited 2 hours for their match to be called. This is not an issue with the amount of setups available because there are plenty. The problem is that there are open setups available to be played on, but the TOs are on their phones instead of calling m

When I was first introduced to the place, it was really fun and I enjoyed it with my friends, but during these latest smash tournaments I feel that it isnt as good as it could be. Tournaments go on to long and past the time the store closes and they start them late even if they urge everyone to be there on time. Also some of the gear like monitors and adapters are not suitable for completive play. Especially the adaptors as they are known to cause delay and damage controllers.
